Is anyone using voice recognition software with special needs students?
We have a high school student who has severe physical limitations - I
think he has Muscular Dystrophy. He is taking a high school
composition class where the students do a lot of writing. We are
looking into the feasibility of getting him a laptop with voice
recognition software and I was wondering if anyone has tried this.
What works? What doesn't work?
I am reading that the built-in voice recognition in Windows 7 is pretty
good but I think that I would want a "little more" for a project like
this - possibly Dragon Naturally Speaking.
So does anyone do something like this?
