We have 1 line that allows them to put money on their account, whether cash/check. We don't give change back. So if they have $3.00 and only purchase $2.75 worth of food, they end up with $.25 on their account for future purchases. Same thing with just purchasing a milk or extra cookie, etc... We discourage kids from using change, and only using dollar bills. Most of our students are used to it an bring in a couple bucks at a time for stuff like that. All you need to use Skyward security settings to disable the options in PaC as you enable them in web. If I'm not mistaken, this is the way Skyward intended the rollout to be. If that is really the way your organization wants to handle it, I would suggest gradually encouraging users to do certain things on the web, then after maybe a 2 week grace period, disable security to the equivalent features on PaC. That allows for a controlled transition rather than the abrupt change. Also, keep in mind that PaC will continue to function after the officially EOL date - there just won't be support for it (except for the features that are still not fully ported to web). It would not be advisable to continue using it and it is certainly risky, but the reality is, it will still probably work for many day to day operations. -TS Thomas C.
