SMART boards are not the same. ENO boards can be written on and they
even use a permanent marker in their demo. SMART ones are unable to be
written on with anything. I would see what SMART says when you call
them. If you try something and it ruins the entire board, that wouldn't
be good.

If it works the same was as on the ENO boards -- write over it with the
dry marker and try to erase it. This works on the PolyCom Eno boards.

Try Denatured Alcohol. It is used to thin varnish. Rubbing alcohol,

permanent marker from LCD screens. I have NEVER had it damage anything
I use it on.

If you resort to running compound, I would get the kind that is for
clear coat paints.
