I think there is an important issue raised here. 

While as an EdTech group we really have to try to make the best use of all 
technologies that are available. And, as someone who was in the emergency room 
with a screwed up knee last Tuesday nite I was very great full for the 
opportunity to still participate via Eluminate. It cannot substitute for the 
experience of being in the same room with people like Peterson, Donovan, et al.

Plus, lunch is nice.

I personally don't see a problem with a group setting up a satellite site and 
feeding the Eluminate feed into it. As long as you can get more than a couple 
of people there.
