Any thoughts on this... I had to replace a failing SME 7.x box due to age/failing drives. I did the backup and restore option and everything seemed to go very smooth.
However then things got really weird with the DNS. They are setup to use the free dyndns.org with domain.gotdns.com and life was grand for years. I guess the new server was not reporting to dyndns, and my free account was removed. Not a big deal, I have a number of paid accounts so with a phone call we sorted this out, and I added them to my other account. Now the problem is this, and I am not sure how or why as I have never had to do anything 'special' before to get this working... but the only address that resolves is domain.gotdns.com www.domain.gotdns.com does not and mail.domain.gotdns.com does not Yes these work perfectly fine on my other free accounts ?? Any thoughts on this, and how to fix it? The server does seem to snd/rec mail fine as long as you on the inside LAN, outside users cannot. I was also told that the ISP had made some recent changes to their network, but... not sure how they could be 'blocking' these DNS requests.
