I'm North of I-80 but don't consider myself as being North, as in Chicago.

Growing up in the western suburbs of chicago, I always considered Plainfield
as south. :)

Well it is south of I-80 . . . >8^) Which from what I understand is
downstate for all of the Chicago folks . . .

I know this is brought up quite a bit, but come on. Are we really going to
call Starved Rock and Heartland CC downstate?

I expect one of the officers will chime in with more reliable info,
but speaking only as a participant, I'd say that they are already
trying to come up with ways to remedy the situation. They stream the
meetings via Elluminate and at last week's meeting, they shared that
two meetings for the 2011-2012 school year are tentatively scheduled
for downstate (Starved Rock and Heartland CC). Also, they have a
presence at IETC.

If you haven't already, visit ILTCO.org and get in touch with a board
member so they know what kind of interest there is.
