Pam,

I live way out in the sticks. Last year there were some issues with farms and other places out this way getting broken into. I went with a company called Interface. The technician came in and had everything up and running in just over an hour. I think I spend about $30/month for them to monitor. Haven't had a problem with them at all. At the slightest hint of a problem, my phone is ringing. It's been a good relationship. I would recommend them.

Quoting Pam <techge...@gmail.com>:

I'm researching home security systems and I thought I'd see if any of
you had feedback. From what I can tell so far, it seems that you have
to be careful about what company you choose. The hardware can be
proprietary and service bad after you are locked into a contract.
Most of it seemed to scream, "buyer beware".

Thanks in advance
Pam
