Is the projector actually projecting black or is something blocking it? Do other sources show a full screen? Is it just in powerpoint? I don't think it will be a bulb. Either something came loose internally and is blocking the projection or the LCD screen is faulty. I'd hook other sources up to see if the problem is coming from the computer or the projector. Swap projectors and see which device the problem follows. Also make sure the projector doesn't have some sort of window shade mode that lets the teacher cover part of the screen virtually.
>>> <tmcl...@argenta-oreana.org> 9/28/2010 12:34 PM >>> One of our teachers is projecting a powerpoint presentation on her SMART board with an Epson 400W LCD projector but the top 1/6 of the display is a black bar. The powerpoint slide looks fine on her computer monitor. When she tries to orient the board, she cannot see the top three points to tap. I have not run into this issue before. Hoping one of you have a quick fix for me. ;) TIA, Tammy Tammy McLane Technology Coordinator Argenta-Oreana Middle/High School 200 E.
