Maybe we can write a program that will give us those "half pennies" and put the money in our bank accounts. We could be rich. Wait a minute. Didn't Richard Prior do that in one of the early Superman movies???????

Last I heard, pennies cost 1.5 cents to make. Every time someone in gov 
discusses getting rid of them, though, there's an outcry to keep them, largely 
for sentimental reasons. So it never goes anywhere.
