I can get by with typing with one hand on my computer keyboard too. Once you get used to swype and confident in your swyping, you can type faster than with a full size keyboard. I had swype on my old touch pro and once I got used to it, I never opened the hardware keyboard again. The only reason I have a hardware keyboard now with my Epic is because it is the only Galaxy S phone on sprint. The hardware keyboard just stays closed. Is it a must have? No, you can get by without it but why would you want to?
