I had that problem last year and I had space on an available san so I created
an ntfs junction point and pointed the folder to the new volume on the san. It
has worked flawlessly and no one even noticed the change (it was part of a
share with our faculty home folders).

Once summer came around and I could repartition the drives, I removed the
junction and all is back to normal.

I know this has been brought up several times before and I looked through
the TG's archives and read some of the responses but I thought I'd ask
anyway. The partition on my W2K3 server I use for teacher file storage is
starting to get full, I have plenty of room on one of my other partitions so
I want to resize. I have no unallocated space on the drives so I'm going to
need to use partitioning software. I tried to find somewhere to purchase
Partition Magic but couldn't find anything, so I'm looking at EASEUS
Partition Master Server Edition (http://www.easeus.com) but I'm not sure how
well it would work. Has anyone used this software to resize a server
partition and if so what did you think of it? Also, does anyone have any
recommendations for Windows based partitioning software that's priced in
$MD?

TIA
