I just finished a project using partition wizard (partitionwizard.com) It
worked as advertized but not without issues.

For instance, you cannot do this with Dynamic drives and you can only add drive
space from adjacent partitions (partition C: cannot use partition E:'s space)

Make sure you are well versed in drive recovery procedures BEFORE YOU START
repartitioning. Make a copy of your boot.ini. it would not hurt a bit to
build a bootable floppy (if you have a floppy drive on your server), but before
you start repartitioning, make sure you can recover.

Subject: [tech-geeks] Partitioning software

I know this has been brought up several times before and I looked through

the TG's archives and read some of the responses but I thought I'd ask

anyway. The partition on my W2K3 server I use for teacher file storage is

starting to get full, I have plenty of room on one of my other partitions so

I want to resize. I have no unallocated space on the drives so I'm going to

need to use partitioning software. I tried to find somewhere to purchase

Partition Magic but couldn't find anything, so I'm looking at EASEUS

Partition Master Server Edition (http://www.easeus.com) but I'm not sure how

well it would work. Has anyone used this software to resize a server

partition and if so what did you think of it? Also, does anyone have any

recommendations for Windows based partitioning software that's priced in

$MD?

TIA
