I have Comcast for home phone. And am just about to disconnect it on Wednesday when my TriplePlay $100 a month deal lapses and suddenly the same 3 services (Phone/Internet/TV) will spontaneously start costing me $218 a month.
The service is good. It works. But seeing as how I won a Magic Jack at the Tech Feast in Bloomington, I'm going to be using that at home for the next year. Comcast service, and I daresay Vonage or anything else, is just not worth $20/month -- especially when there are free or nearly free alternatives for someone who calls others, and receives calls mostly from his cell phone. Does anyone on this list use Comcast for home phone? Or does anyone have AT&T UVerse for TV? I have been waiting on AT&T to get to my neighborhood so I can play AT&T against Comcast. I have AT&T now for Internet and phone but Comcast for TV - and it went up $15 this month as my year discount on digital is now over. Time to "re-up" one way or another.
