The old forms still require certification of having an approved tech plan
covering the entire first year that services are being requested for P1
services. If you don't have an approved tech plan you cannot apply on-line
using the old (current) forms without perjuring yourself.

What we were told up in Lake County is that you can still file with the old
forms that are available online now. At some point possibly around early
December, USAC will switch to the new ones and you'll need to use the new forms
after that switch. 470's filed with the old form before the switch will still
be valid.
The new forms are awaiting approval by the OMB and won't happen until after the
upcoming election.

I would have to throw in here on this comment that this is just modern society
wanting to keep up with the Jones and doesn?t want to do without things they?ve
grown accustom too.<sarcasm>For those of you who didn?t know this, let me tell

And how fast did you call Dish Network?
I suppose you are out in the country and cable is not an option.

I've waited three weeks for a certain satellite company (cough Direct
TV)... The big day was here today, I had taken a half day off work and
was waiting for my installers when I get the dreaded call. An
automated call no less asking me to reschedule on the next available
date two weeks from now. I'm obviously a little angry so I wait 30
minutes to get to an actual human. The poor customer service lady
passes me on to a supervisor who begins to tell me my local office
doesn't have any HD receivers available at this time but they will
credit me $50 for me inconvenience. At this point I'm fuming. I've
already waited three weeks, I've taken half a day off work, and now I
have to wait another two at least and take more time off work. I
simply ask can't you just come out, install the dish with a regular
receiver, and then come back when the HD receivers when they come in.
Her response was no we cannot send a technician out to your house
twice. Seriously? At which point I said cancel my entire order, which
she did and says have a great day. I was blown away. Oh well.

I pay a fixed fee for Internet from the local cable company and I have
an antenna.
I pay for Netflix and I love Hulu.
That has been good enough for me - I am at the point in my life where
between 4pm Friday afternoon leaving work and 8am this morning returning I
watched about 22 minutes of "TV"
When children come I know that will change, and I'll watch a movie this
week, some news, and another episode of something, but for now, I get by
just fine. Netflix/Hulu is like the world's largest DVR and cost $9/month.
I have thought about Hulu Plus but not justified it yet...
