Hi all, I sincerely feel Mr. Gregory and Shrikant are rite in there own domains. But to classify something is technical or not is very difficult. Something that is technical to me may not be technical to others. Let's us take an example, since i am from CS background for me string theorist/theory (from physics world) is just as non-tehnical gossip as any Movie magzine (Please no offence meant). So i would safely ignore the mail w/o reading. Also since i am not interested in java,VB,C# anything except opengl, c and unix, i should not crib that no technical matter are being discussed and hence this is just as any other group would be wrong.
Tile soneone has any technical info let's allow him to use teh medium he wishes to. Now here's a simple solution for the problem. If you are reading mails via an e-mail client. You can simply write an e-mail client in Vb which will not only download mails for you but read them as well. So that you won't have to see all the mails. juts teh ones you feel is important to you. (This was for windows) For unix one can use festival to read the mails. Or more intesting, if someone feels that it's webbrowser should read the mail one can do that easily (windows only) BTW if any1 wants the code for above all, mail me personally ( i will be out till monday (2/5/5) and will send you the code on tuesday 3/5/5).
