Hi, Andrew -

Just stick copy your homedir, /Applications, (and any other stuff like /opt or 
/usr/local if applicable) from your old Mac. Copy your data off the usb disk to 
your new Powerbook. Selectively copy non-bundled apps to /Applications. You 
should be good to go.
