I feel you've not. You're simply equating "increased service visibility"
with "bad security". If this were the case, every bank would be robbed
daily, and seedy liquor store owners wouldn't be infamous for keeping a
shotgun behind the counter.

The fact remains that the number of actually hacked OS X systems, even when
accounting for the quantity of installations, is far lower than any other
mainstream, or even near-mainstream, operating system. You can't invalidate
that simple truth by pointing at the existence of a Zeroconf implementation.
