run a substitute for the Windows recycle Bin, its called Undelete Pro
and is put out by the same people who develop Diskeeper, unlike the
Recycle Bin Undelete Pro keeps every file that is deleted or moved from
the system plus multiple versions of same if you want that functionality.
You can configure Undelete Pro to track network drives, even Mac
formatted drives can be tracked and recorded.
Why did I bother with this utility when I have rollback? Far easier and
quicker to use Undelete Pro to recover something than it is with
Rollback, I don't have to tell Rollback what snapshot I wish to look
through for example.

Hello Dane
Yes, I understand that. Actually we turned our recycle bin off as soon as we
got the machine. Gordon went into the registry somehow and totally disabled the
recycle bin.

ah yep! no one is even suggesting that System Restore is a replacement for Rollback but
think of things this way, Windows assume that people are using the recycle Bin so there's
the avenue of retreiving files, again a question of "horses for courses".
