Hi David Are you sure you downloaded the correct thing? If that were the case it wouldn't be the product it is. I'm wondering if you actually downloaded Putty, which is their open source SSH client.
I'm going to go and try that now because I'm having a little trouble believing this. I've used both WebDAV and FTP on the Windows versions in the past. I tried on ports 21 and 22 but it complained about the lack of an SSH connection. On the positive side I found an old freeware utility called Send to FTP which unlike expandrive worked instantly and with no problem on port 21. This adds a send to FTP option in explorer. Not as neat as an expandrive solution and you cannot download files of course but it is a good quick way to upload files onto the server. ======================================= The Techno-Chat E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit for forum's dedicated web pages located at http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/techno-chat You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Techno-Chat group at either of the following websites: http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/techno-chat/index.html Or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> you may also subscribe to this list via RSS.
