There is one problem I’ve found with the radio and its not the fault of the radio itself, its the fault of some broadcasters.
Some of the broadcasters on DAB+ here add extra processing to the digital audio - extra bass and extra treble whilst dropping the mid range - and these broadcasters may cause the Pal DAB=“s speaker to distort at near full volume so be aware of that. Thankfully most broadcasters in DAB+ out here don’t do stupid things like that, the general rule here is that what you’re hearing is what you’re getting from the studio - of course that’s the theory but compression leaves us a slightly different picture but you get my drift. - On 24 Dec 2013, at 10:08 pm, Jackie Brown <[email protected]> wrote: > Nice one Dane, will check this out! > > > Kind regards, > > Jackie Brown > Twitter: @thebrownsplace > Skype: Thejackmate > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dane Trethowan > Sent: 24 December 2013 00:14 > To: Techno-Chat ...
