Hi Dane I have looked at this radio on Amazon, and they do it for just under £200. That is expensive, but I know Tivoli radios have a good sound. I am in the market for a new portable, so am seriously considering this one.

Subject: Re: Just How Good Are Portable DAB+ Radio Sets There is one problem Ive found with the radio and its not the fault of the radio itself, its the fault of some broadcasters. Some of the broadcasters on DAB+ here add extra processing to the digital audio - extra bass and extra treble whilst dropping the mid range - and these broadcasters may cause the Pal DAB=s speaker to distort at near full volume so be aware of that. Thankfully most broadcasters in DAB+ out here dont do stupid things like that, the general rule here is that what youre hearing is what youre getting from the studio - of course thats the theory but compression leaves us a slightly different picture but you get my drift. - On 24 Dec 2013, at 10:08 pm, Jackie Brown <[email protected]> wrote: > Nice one Dane, will check this out! > > > Kind regards, > > Jackie Brown > Twitter: @thebrownsplace > Skype: Thejackmate > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dane Trethowan > Sent: 24 December 2013 00:14 > To: Techno-Chat ...
