Hi!
At present I have a Wi-Fi link between my Asus RTAC3200 and an Asus RTAC68
router, the RTAC3200 being the main router and the RTAC68 as aan Access point.
This arrangement seems to work very well though speed it limited to 600MBPS.
I’m thinking of using some power line LAN adapters in place of the Wi-Fi
arrangement as described above, TP-Link are offering a Starter Pack of 2
Adapters which are supposed to have a maximum transmission speed over the power
line of 1.2GBPS.
So that’s all simple enough but I am a little concerned as to the venerability
of these things.
For example, suppose the owner of the property next door just so happened to
have some of these TP-Link adapters, could he easily gain access to my Home
Network or could the adapters on his property possibly conflict with those on
mine?
