Hello everybody I now have my big Echo set up and functioning in my lounge. I also now have an Echo Dot functional on my bedside table upstairs. I change the "wake" word on one device lest the sensitive microphones were to pick up incructions on two devides at once.
Regarding the audio quality. On the Echo, it's exceptional. On the Echo Dot, for what I want it is wonderful. there is also a line outpot, which m'ns one can ubbse the Dot privately. The audio qualment when used in this congiguration is exceptional. Regarding the versatility of the device, you can enable and disable certain skills in the Alexa app, obtainable from ed Apple AppSTORE and the Google Play Stoor for iOS and Android respectively. Note, there is actually a way to sht up the Amzon website here in the UK, and I guess that other localisations are available in other parts of the world. I am going to avail myself of a Google Home as well, about I have to say that the Echo is a wonderful device, very weblind worth having. Selling at just _39.99, the Echo Dot is real value for money if you're looking at a smaller device. However, it would have been nice had it been fitted with a rechargeable battery.
