After making allot of checks and allot of soldering not finding
anything, I pulled relay RY101 thinking even though it was activating
maybe it was not making good enough contact (carbon etc...) to fire
unit. Once pulled, come to see 1 of the 4 relay legs was only sticking
out about>

-< that far outside the housing of relay.

fix: extended leg with piece of wire, fired right up.... "joe"

Subject: [Techs] Emerson TC1972D DEAD relay clicks

Make: Emerson
Model: TC1972D
Symptom: DEAD relay clicks
Mfd.(1993)

With power off IC504 5.0v standby regulator input (13.5vdc). power up
drops to (4.9vdc in) and (4.9vdc out) to D126 cathode. anode of D126
(-49vdc) to R177 other side of R177 (0.0vdc) then goes back to L501.
Obvious diodes and resistors in general area check ok, filter caps
(SEEM) to check ok <(which doesn't mean diddly)...!!! NO PRINT.... any
ideas or suggestions...???

Thanks "joe"
