I have heard from a number of sources that Dell computers are very
good. But when I recently helped someone buy a laptop, the salesperson
at Dell didn't even know enough to answer some of my questions.

This is a far cry from their ads which feature young computer nerds.
Jeff called Dell a few days ago, when his PC was having a problem
and they didn't give him the correct advice.

I can see why he is angry about overseas tech support. Is it
really smart for a large American corporation to hire barely
trained aliens for something as critical as tech support?
