OK CC experts, I'm trying to get CC to communicate with an EEPROM out of this 177 chassis. When I said "out" I mean that I have an adapter with I.C. socket and external 5V source.
I don't see the 177 associated with any of the interface adapters. I've checked one out of a 175 and it works OK. I tried a new chip for another 177 and can't get it to communicate with CC either. The interface adapter that I use with my homemade adapter is the one designated for CTC 174, 175, 18X series, 19X series an 203. The 177 is in the "chassis" list so is there something else that I need to check it or something different that I have to do to get it to communicate?
