Toshiba Satellite Pro Model PA1230U XCD Laptop Can't get case to come apart (removed screws in all four corners)
Just bought a used Toshiba laptop and as soon as I turn it on the only display is dozens of vertical lines Some very thin, all different colors. I figure it may be that the cable between the board and the LCD is defective. We work mostly on desktop PCs and haven't done any hardware repairs on laptops yet. I figure this is common (since the display cable must swivel every time it's opened).
