There is things going on with PTS and several manufactures. Apparently PTS is rebuilding for Hitachi. Because, that's where we return the dud boards to. Comes complete with shipping label. We don't get warranty credit until PTS informs Hitachi that they have the board. But, at least, one can get an Hitachi board From PTS, and at a cheaper price than Hitachi. Not true with Pioneer. PTS does their rebuilding too, but it's a secret. I know this because I ordered a Pioneer board from Pioneer, and it came marked as a PTS rebuild, with paperwork. I later tried to sell some Pioneer duds to PTS and they at first, said that they didn't rebuild them. After informing the CR of what I knew she grudgingly admitted that they did the work, but were prevented by contract to sell or buy the boards from anyone but Pioneer.
