Frank and All,
I used the proceedure listed below, to locate the bad cap.
It turned out to be C250 (100ufd. @ 16 VDC ). I used a 25VDC replacement,
cause it was completly blown.
*********************************
I never believed in pulling caps. What I do and it's fast and effective is to
display a NTSC signal which will indeed show the problem since after
stripping the carrier, the different colors occupy different spectra.Select a
electrolytic that covers all voltages of the existing caps and lets say 10
ufd .Stay away from sensitive circuits[uproc etc]and just go down the video
chain while watching the signal. If you see a slight change check the cap
your'e bridging and bridge again w/proper cap.It will be dramatic and
obvious.Don't forget that satt. Reeivers have raw video as well as regular
video and those ckts need to be checked. Check raw video first if you can
.Let me know..........Regards,
Pete

Thanks everybody.
