After a reboot of an eNB I ran iPerf on a dedicated bearer at QCI 1 from
several UE at the same time. I specifically chose 8000 UE with high
SINR. Since the reboot clears the show traffic counters, we can see
that > 97% of UL traffic during this test runs at MCS 20. Given the
channel size and configuration (20mhz / SF 2 / SSF 1) I don't see why
we can't get 7-8mbps on this test, but we never get more than 4.
Usually more like 2.5 to 3.0 mbps. In configuration 1, where we think
we should get 12-15mbps UL, we still only get 2-4 mbps.
I've been working with Telrad support and I'm trying to be patient, but
I still don't really know if this is some kind of known issue or
something specific to our deployment.
Can somebody tell me if they're getting expected uplink throughput?
