As for me, better solution will be to hack template files, if this
possible. But using ~ (tilda!) instead of - (minus) should also work.
And looking to sources from Rajesh, I think [%~ planet ~%] is more
reasonable, isn't? I mean, he should use ~ (tilda) on both sides, not
only in first tag.

I'm not native English speaker, but as I see, Google translate is know
about "people" and "peoples", in meaning "nation" and "nations". And I
think with original phrase, "Peoples of [%- planet -%] ..." - it
sounds reasonable, isn't? ;)
