Hi Steve,

Robert has been very helpful in debugging this with us but unable to
reproduce this error. That's why I thought it was worth posting here to
see if anyone else is experiencing this. It doesn't appear so. Must be
something in our configuration.

Robert had me create a new server.ini with just the default settings,
remove our custom tag libraries, and strip things down to the basics.
Unfortunately that didn't work either. The site (all other .tafs, tcfs.)
work fine if we omit the STARTUPURL.

Per your suggestions:

Yes, we've tried the SHUTDOWNURL and while that alone doesn't keep the
server from starting up it does prevent it from shutting down cleanly. I
need to kill the Windows process via Task Manager. So there is perhaps
something related here.

I did remove all other server instances. Still happens.

I've tried this on 6.2.1, 6.2.3, 6.2.5 on two separate servers. Happens on
both. Very strange and most likely a result of something we're doing wrong
if we're the only one this is happening to.

DNS works on the app server. I can run the STARTUPURL .taf from the app
server just fine. I've even gone so far as to put the app servers assigned
static IP address in VALIDHOSTS instead of just leaving 127.0.0.1

Thanks for your help and suggestions. I'll post back to the forum when we
find a solution.

All the best,
Matt
