Hi Erik, I know that is a problem with Windows. I haven't upgraded Java for a while now as it breaks TeraScript. I had to re-install the prior version of Java to get it to work again..
I think Robert will make TeraScript compatible with the current version of Java in the future unless he already made the upgrade. I would guess you may be having the same problem. Maybe re-install the prior version. There was also a recent security update, so it is possible that may have been the culprit, but so far I think it's the Java update that did it. I have yet to find a way to get things working again.
