Hello all,

I found a workaround for the time being. The problem was the Java 2013-004
update. This security update brings the Java version to 1.6.0_51 which appears
to be incompatible with Terascribe. I was able to revert to the previous Java
2013-003 update which bring the version of Java back to 1.6.0_45.

If anyone runs into this, get the older update file, which is no longer on
Apple's website, at

http://apple-java-for-mac.en.softonic.com/mac/download

and then install using Pacifist from

http://www.charlessoft.com

You can use the Pacifist install ability to overwrite the newer install with
the older one.

So you know, the Java 7 update can be installed at the same time as Java 6 and
has no conflict with Terascribe in any way. There is no need to remove the Java
7 update from your Mac.

I got this fix from the website of another vendor which encountered the same
symptoms with their product as I was experiencing with Terascribe. Thank god
for Google.
