I believe if you want a ready-made solution you can just use VietOCR if you want support for more file formats, etc. It is not just for Vietnamese. I am pretty sure it can handle LZW tiffs: http://vietocr.sourceforge.net/ Otherwise you'll need to compile yourself and have libtiff as Jimmy mentioned. -_Sven
