well i am trying to do something similar, where i am recognizing text on device images. As per my experience, i suggest you should first localize text and do some kind of preprocessing(grazing light, binarization etc) of detected text blocks before giving them to OCR. Seeing your images, i guess it is difficult text to be recognized by humans itself at first sight...
