Sven, I've been working on my problem and finally got Tesseract to install. I typed the command "install tesseract dependency libtiff marlenblough/tiff-4.0.3" and the next time I typed "brew install tesseract" it continued installing until it got to leptonica dependency. I then did the same thing I did with libtiff and had success! Now I see I have a lot to learn as I do the training language. I'm hoping I'm not too old to teach an old dog new tricks!
