Dear Rainer,
Thank you very much for your answer. I have some questions about it,
see below.

The result is exactly what I would like to have, but I have a problem
trying to recompile it. I downloaded the slur-ps.zip of Stanislav
Kneifl and I decompressed it with
# unzip -a slur-ps.zip
The installation instructions are:
> The musixps.tex should be placed anywhere TeX can find it,
> prefferably into the musixtex directory.
> Do not include it into your TeX format file!
> The psslurs.pro should be placed somewhere dvips can find it.
I gave the following commands:
# cp musixps.tex /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/musixtex/
# texhash
Where should I place the file psslurs.pro? Should I place the files
mxsk.mf and mxsk.tfm somewhere? Please, help! My operating system is Linux Suse
6.4.
Regards
Alexandros
