Hi, There are two files in the archive slurs-ps.zip: mxsk.tfm and mxsk.mf. Unless you say \halfties, you need only the tfm file - put it to the directory where your tfms of musixtex reside (something like /usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/public/musixtex) and that's it. You can put the mxsk.mf into the /usr/share/texmf/fonts/source/public/musixtex directory.
Please check the paths, I am using a different system than you do, but I believe it does not matter. Don't forget to rebuild the filename database... Stanislav.
