I recommend studying Christof Biebrichers comprehensible documention on
how to handle MusiXTeX & MiKTeX. See
http://icking-music-archive.sunsite.dk/software/musixtex/winstall.pdf.
Next to that document is the installation .bat script
http://icking-music-archive.sunsite.dk/software/musixtex/dosbatch.zip
mentioned in the HOWTO.

The introductory page of the archive contains a section on handling
postscript files including a link to the maine web site of
ghostscript/ghostview http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/index.html. There
you'll find the latest program versions for your OS and information
about them

our introduction also has a link to Adobe's acrobat reader download page
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/alternate.html
