It didn't seem to have any effect for me - but there are so many things I
could be doing wrong without realizing it...

It's a good idea - but the webpage says you need root access to do it!
I'll reread it, to see if I missed something tho...

Anyway, it's very nice that someone has heard the cry for help :-)  Most
computer problems don't have easy solutions (even if they should); but it's
much better than doing it alone. So, thanks - and I'll check those ideas
out!
