Since PMX's MIDI capabilities are intended only as an editing helper, and because the MIDI logic is so widely dispersed within PMX and therefore difficult to modify, I'm not anxious to mess with it at all.
As long as there is only one object functioning as a tie, if that object has no explicit index it ought to work in the MIDI.
