thanks for this solution. Don't care if you are proude, it works. I have
remove the transpose and put the other octaves insinde. This blows up the
PMX source a bit less.
While juggling around with inline TeX I have further strange results. The
octave runs away. I have "fixed" this with other note pitches. The strange
thing is that this was NOT necessary at any place I need the pattern.
