I am using FC6. I had previously installed MusixTex only to discover it
didn't work and when I rebooted I had no password to login with( more
than a few years of this ...). Hopefully when I reboot I won't have to
erase my whole installation again because right now I have to do it
about once a week anyway and recompile many gigabytes of programs.
My purpose in using MusixTex is that I want to typeset music for
theorbo, baroque guitar, lute, archlute etc ... I also use Lilypond but
cannot write macros to do what I want and the issue was approached some
years ago without resolve I think.
I followed the instructions and got musix.map enabled with the
musixps-unix fonts. Musixflx was compiled and everything else compiled
ok . When I do pdflatex musicdoc.pdf I get :

With acroread I view the file and acroread complains about missing
fonts. No matter what I view the file with all the notes are missing or
some blobs of ink appear here and there. Everything else is typeset
correctly. I was messing around with pdftricks, pstricks etc. but gave
up on it. So the problem is notehead graphics. The runaway argument is
I think on the code :

0 0}]{hyperref} , but I really am not sure.
Any ideas?
