hello everybody, Most current users of this list will know about PMX, the preprocessor to MusiXTeX written by Don Simons. With PMX, Don Simons produced an ingenious tool that simplifies the practical use of MusiXTeX enormously.
Over five years ago, I had written an extensive tutorial to the use of PMX, based on a similar paper in Italian, written by Luigi Cataldi. While Don Simons has to this day been admirably active in enhancing PMX with continuous development (latest version 2.515 dated Dec 2007), my tutorial remained hopelessly out of date, frozen with PMX version 2.415, almost 20 versions back!
