Well, there is no cost for trying it out -:). But the answer is no. However,
I'm not sure that's a good thing. If you set them above the staff, you might
want the BOTTOMS to line up. After setting \figdrop to what you want for the
system, you could then case-by-case use "_" to move the single digits down
to line up with the lower of the two-digit figures.
