Rodolfo--

I'm glad to see someone using the tremolo features of PMX, and glad you
found a workaround to get what you wanted. I'm very puzzled why " cd22xT20
g" didn't work for you because it did work for me (using PMX 2.94). You
could also consider joining the stems of the dotted half notes with a single
beam and using one disconnected one, using "cd22xT11 g".

I do get the same error message you got with " cd22xT02 g". Half note (or
dotted half) tremolos are intentionally not allowed. My reference is Read's
"Musical Notation" 2nd ed. I will grant that his description is somewhat
confusing. He makes a distinction between measured and unmeasured tremolos,
but is kind of fuzzy about how to tell one from the other. He does say that
only an unmeasured tremolo in quarter notes has the primary beam broken, and
that half or dotted half notes can always be joined by a primary beam,
because the open note heads distinguish them as half notes.

You might have noticed that I didn't implement whole note tremolos. You
could try entering one in the obvious way, and it goes through without any
error message, but what comes out is wrong. I think I just ran out of gas
when implementing them, so they're limited to half, quarter, or eighth
notes. If anyone ever asked for them I suppose I could go to work on it.

In the end I workarounded it putting `cd42xT20 g cd42xT20 g'...
