Rodolfo: musixtex.lua is not musixtex.tex and the version of the former isn't likely to affect the treament of tremolos. Similarly, it's not likely that the musixtex.tex version would but if you want to know what version of musixtex.tex you're using, look for output like (./musixtex.tex MusiXTeX(c) 1.31 <2020-10-12> ... in your log.
