In case you haven't noticed I have been trying to avoid going stir crazy,
by testing the latest LED flashlights and headlamps at the retail stores.

Coleman has a new rechargeable spot-light that puts out a whopping
520 lumens.

I exchanged my last test model in for this one.

This thing is so bright that you could mount in on the front of a train or
an airplane.

The only use I can see for it is shining light up out of the pit at Golondrinas,
so the astronauts on the space station can see where the cave is in the
dark.

Probably more suitable for boating.

Pros:

1. It seems to be well built, and includes both a car charger,
        and a wall outlet charger.
2. Huge beam of light ( way more than a powerful flashlight ).
3. Probably a better spotlight than the average halogen spotlight.
4. Could possibly be used in cave cinematography in a large room
by bouncing off a reflective screen?

Cons:

1. You can't dim the light.
2. It seems like they have room in the housing for 3 more LED's.
3. They took an existing halogen spotlight and just replaced the
       halogen bulb with 3 LED's.
4. Probably not easy to change or upgrade the battery.
5. It weighs so much, that I can't see hiking with it for any reason.

I have no use for this light, and will try to exhange it for something I
need.
