Mark, I just responded personally to your earlier post on this matter in which I was in favor of the gift to pay down the Punkin and Deep loan. Gifting the funds to TCMA for this purpose has nothing to do with bias or being fair but makes good fiscal sense to pay down the loan on which you are being charged interest. Punkin and Deep cave preserve benefits ALL cavers, not just some. I am curious as to how the officers of the other associations feel. Fritz

What's wrong with bias? If one of the properties is more desirable to Texas cavers as a whole, then that's where the money should go. People and organizations show bias in giving donations and grants all the time. It's a matter of priorities and preferences. Nothing wrong with that. Mark Minton
